Balen Sarkar (balengov.com) is an independent civic monitoring portal that tracks the progress of Mayor Balen Shah's government in Kathmandu Metropolitan City. This portal is not affiliated with any government body.

- Via Google Sign-In: your name, email address, and profile photo — used only to enable ministry ratings, work likes/dislikes, and news likes/dislikes.
- Vote data: your ratings and votes are stored in Firestore under your Google UID to prevent duplicate voting.
- Via Google Analytics: page visits, geographic location (country level), and device type — all anonymously.

- To prevent duplicate votes and ratings
- To restore your vote history on return visits
- To understand and improve site usage
- Never for marketing or sold to third parties
4. Data Storage
All data is stored on Google Firebase (Firestore). Firebase security rules ensure each user can only read and write their own vote data.
